Well, of course they want something. You've seen me in action, Emma. Much as I don't like it, my powers make me a heavy-hitter. And not just with the flames, when push comes to shove. I sincerely doubt they'll throw me headlong into active duty, at any rate. They have no idea how much experience I really have. I'm fine with it staying that way for a while.
