Raven crouched down to be at eye level with with the carrier, sticking a finger between the bars and wriggling it at Joni. "It is no trouble at all," she said, smiling up at Jono.
"It is like part of you will be with me. And I have thought about getting a kitten of my own. I used to have a dog, but a dorm room is no place for a doberman, so I found a good home for her on the mainland."
